Chalet Snøstorm is a 400m² luxury retreat spread across four floors, designed with a deep love for this corner of the Italian Alps. Fully refurbished in 2023, the chalet uses natural materials — exposed oak beams, stone, warm wood floors — as a backdrop for a design sensibility that is anything but generic. Original Italian vintage advertising posters line the walls. A custom glass staircase connects the floors. Leather loungers face panoramic windows.

It sleeps 12 guests across five individually named bedrooms and a loft, each with its own character. Available self-catered or fully catered with a private chef.
Stunning views
Perched above Valtournenche at 1,750m, the chalet enjoys an elevated south-facing position that delivers unobstructed views across the valley toward the Matterhorn. The panorama from the balconies and living room windows is, as The Times put it, "so magnificent they'll make your hair curl."
Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen and dining area is the social heart of the chalet. A custom-built solid oak table seats all 12 guests comfortably, warmed by a contemporary wood-burning fireplace. The Scandi-cool open kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range appliances — from the espresso machine to the wine fridge. Step onto the balcony for morning coffee in the Alpine sun.
Main living room
A custom glass staircase descends from the dining area to the main living room — a generous space with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, capacious sofas, leather loungers, and views down the Valtournenche valley and up towards the 4000+ meter mountain range. This is where the group gathers after the lifts close, with nowhere better to be.
Recreation area
The ground floor is dedicated to relaxation and the younger guests. A separate recreation room with XL TV and kitchenette gives teenagers their own space. The hammam (Turkish steam bath) leads directly out to the nearly 2,000m² garden and the 6-person outdoor hot tub — the ideal end to any day on the mountain.
Jotunheim Master Suite
The Jotunheim is the chalet's signature room: a king-size master suite with panoramic views across the steep Valtournenche valley and mountain range. Includes a dedicated desk for those who can't resist working with that view, custom-built wardrobes, and a spacious en-suite bathroom.

A versatile room configured as double or twin, with a well-appointed private bathroom just next door. Perfect for guests who want flexibility.
Mylla Bedroom
The chalet's most popular room with younger guests — bunk beds, valley views, and direct access to the recreation area and wellness facilities downstairs.
Other facilities
The loft sleeps two in separate beds tucked under the eaves — full of character and popular with older children or teenagers. The dedicated ski room has individual boot-warmer racks, ski storage, and a separate entrance so you can come and go without traipsing through the chalet. Three outdoor parking spaces complete the picture.

Self-catered (Basic): Exclusive use of the chalet, mid-week housekeeping, and concierge service. The fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances makes self-catering genuinely enjoyable. From €12,900/week.
Fully Catered: Everything in Basic, plus a private chef serving breakfast, afternoon tea, and gourmet dinners six nights out of seven, with complimentary drinks and wine throughout. Daily housekeeping included. From €24,000/week.
